Regional campuses, Our best kept secret…

The Australian government has launched a few initiatives to encourage international students to study and live in regional areas in Australia.  Some of these regional areas include; Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Darwin and Hobart.

So, what does this mean for an international student?

This means that if you complete your studies in areas considered regional for migration purposes, you are in luck and need I say, there are more Options for you if you choose to extend your stay in Australia after your studies:

Some of those benefits include:

  • Two years, Post-Study Work (PSW) Visa PLUS an additional year if you can prove that you have completed your studies of two years or more in a regional area
  • Opportunity to receive regional scholarships from various universities
  • Benefits of additional regional points on application for further stay in Australia as well as;
